Home Visits:

If it is assessed that you are medically unfit to travel a home visit by a Doctor may be considered. Requests for home visits must be made before 11.30am.

Please note: A home visit is at the discretion of the Doctor. A rash temperature does not prevent patients coming to the surgery and will not endanger others.

Appointments may be booked from 12.00pm by telephone. If possible, please telephone early afternoons to avoid peak times for telephone calls to the surgery.

Alternatively, appointments may be booked by coming to the surgery where a receptionist will be pleased to make an appointment.

To arrange an URGENT appointment please telephone the surgery number (see above) and select option 3. Alternatively if this is a new problem you could see a Nurse Practitioner at Wansbeck Primary Care Access Centre depending on your symptoms

It is really important to let us know if you need to cancel it because it enables us to offer your appointment to someone else.

Up to 123 patients fail to cancel their appointment each month. This wastes a lot of valuable Doctor and Nursing time and also means everyone waits longer to be seen.
